This will be an unbiased review of the Wildlife World Zoo. I had to get over the fact the so many things have changed since I was a child, but change isn’t always bad! I give this zoo a 3.5 out of 5 stars.
First off, the Wildlife World Zoo is located at 16501 W Northern Ave, Litchfield Park, AZ 85340 to be exact (copy&paste to google maps).
I used to love this zoo. I say used to because it has changed from a small and more personal zoo that was once praised by my late and great hero, Steve Irwin aka the “Crocodile Hunter”, into an expensive tourist focused animal park rather than a focus on the conservation of rare and endangered species. It is still very family focused, but gone are the days when we would go with the homeschool moms and their kids (my friends) for $5. We used to be able to bring in paper bag lunches with no problem, but now you will get into trouble for that. You must eat at the restaurants inside the park. They also now have an amusement park path of the zoo where the rides are very expensive and ridiculous.
Now for the positive. This is still a great family place and it is very educational! There are much more animal exhibits since I was a kid, and it is practically a playground now for kids! They will love it, especially the petting zoo.
