Alright you guys, I am truly sorry about not posting anything for the last two weeks. It was midterms and it was absolutely crazy, but I only had time to study and do the stuff that I am bound to do, so don’t think this is going to be a regular thing. I will be going to Georgia this weekend for my brother’s Bible competition, but we will be spending Friday night in Atlanta, in a Korean part of town where my Nana lives which means I will do a food review for whatever tasty dish I get my hands on.

Who has influenced me most in my choice of freedom, liberty and love of exploration? Why the Pirates of Nassau of coarse! My assignment for midterms in English class was to do a research paper on any subject I wanted, so I did one on the Golden Age of Piracy in the late 17th and early 18th centuries. If anyone wants to read it, I will attach a PDF file (Click Here) to the post and you can scoff at my terrible grammar or enjoy the piratey side! Everybody loves pirates, and some, like myself, can totally relate to them. Pirates actually had a great economy in the Caribbean that was rich and free trade was expressed in it’s fullest. If you have any opinions about my essay, please comment and share!  If there are any issues opening the PDF, please comment below.

“In an honest service there is thin commons, low wages, and hard labor; in this, plenty and satiety, pleasure and ease, liberty and power; and who would not balance creditor on this side, when all the hazard that is run for it, at worst, is only a sour look or two at choking. No, a merry life and a short one, shall be my motto.” -Bartholomew “Black Bart” Roberts
