I am going to ask a question that other Travel Bloggers have probably asked you 1,000,000 times.  Ever wanted to runaway? My name is Steven Chavez and I am going to attempt to do just that! Join me as I save up and budget to travel to my first country and begin exploring this great world we live in.

I am 19 years of age, I live in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains and love to hike, camp, and fish the area. My hobbies are martial arts, carpentry/blacksmithing, making weapons such as bows, knives, and other varieties, shooting/building firearms, and playing guitar. I am an involved member of my church and I love being in charge of people (I’m a bit of a dictator if you put me in charge so watch out!), I love to have adventures in all shapes and forms, and am not afraid to put myself at a bit of risk.

In this blog my main posts will be about my path to (hopefully) travelling for my first time to another country and then from there I will start traveling on a regular basis. There will be other pages where I will talk about day to day life here in the mountains, places around the country and here where I live that I will review and give tips on traveling to, things that annoy me and inspire me, and maybe even modern day issues relevant to us (But not Donald Trump, lol). So just sit back, read, and chill out as you follow me on my adventures, and hopefully I can inspire you to take a leap and Travel!

Stay adventurous!

Steven Chavez.

My teacher’s master was Trained under Bruce Lee and Dan Inosanto, so from him we have Filipino Kali and Jeet Kune do, and his master created his own style called Integrated Martial Arts which also has kempo, kung fu and jujitsu in addition to the other two. We also learn Ninjutsu and Tang Soo Do from my teacher. I have done some Tai Chi in that past and would love to do more. Capoeira is epic!
